Llandyfan Camping and Fishing

Established in 2000 the water has a good head of fish. There are 24 pegs available set around the lake. Over the years, the 1 acre lake at Llandyfan campsite has been stocked with a number of fish species including Common Carp, Mirror Carp, Tench, Perch, Roach, and Rudd.

Carp up to 10lb are often caught and give a good account of themselves in the 6 ft deep water. The record weight is 16 lbs.

Fishing is open to both Llandyfan caravan and camping residents and visitors alike. Fishing prices are £6.00 per day or £100 per season. It is essential people visiting for fishing contact us in advance to ensure there is/will be availability on their chosen date[s]. The fishing at Llandyfan caravan and camp site is extremely popular and we are obliged to offer the facility to residential campers first.

To ensure fish stay in prime condition a strict barbless hooks only policy is employed.

The lake has all round access included disabled access. However, in wet and inclement weather the disabled access becomes more difficult and cannot be guaranteed.
