Drayton reservoir benefits from excellent accessibility due to being surrounded by a boardwalk making it easy to reach any of the 123 pegs. Although the water is stocked with Carp, Roach, Perch and Pike the majority of anglers come here for the Carp which average between 14-18lbs but top out at 35lbs. The pike here also reach 26lbs. Known to be a runs water a variety of techniques work well at Drayton and 100lb carp catches are common. Night fishing is available on certain pegs but must be booked in advance.
