Hurlston Hall Fishery consists of two waters, the Main Lake and the Pond. Originally the water started life as a purpose built trout fishery in the 80's but switched to coarse in the 90s.
The fishery is based on a membership (currently £20 per annum) which is needed before you may purchase day / night tickets.
Around 4.5 acres in size the main lake is the main draw of the fishery. It's stocked with carp, chub, tench, perch, roach and rudd.
There are some very large crucians in the lake with fish to 3lb 10oz being taken. Though most of the visitors come for the beautiful common / mirror carp in the lake which reach in excess of 25lb
