Set in the peaceful North Shropshire countryside Merrington Carp Fishery is a specimen day ticket fishery consisting of two waters. The fishery operates on 24 hour day ticket sessions. The waters are solely stocked with carp.
As the name suggests the Main Lake is the primary water at the fishery. This 8 acre purpose built lake consists of 15 pegs and has plenty of features to fish to. There are around 220 carp with 90% over 20lb, 35 of which are known 30lb+ fish. On top of this there are 3 known to be over 40lbs with the record held at 42lb 14oz!
Merlin Lake is a newer and smaller water at 1.25 acres. There are around 70 carp with the largest topping out at 31lb 8oz
