Pool House Farm

Pool House Farm pool is an acre in size with 22 pegs, although small the water has some great features and offers diverse features to fish to. The water holds carp running to 26lbs, with fish in the mid doubles often caught. Along with the carp there are tench to around 7lbs a good head of roach, rudd, crucian carp bream and chub. Finally there are some elusive perch that reach a decent 4lbs.

The clay pit has a history going back 300 years when it was dug to provide building materials for local houses although it wasn't until around 30 years ago the water level was raised by blocking off an drainage outlet.

It's popular to fish the the lake with a waggler or pole either using luncheon meat while feeding sweetcorn, little but often.
